Once again Jorden rode in Lotoja. The 206 mile bike race from Logan, Utah to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
The cheering squad was ready to go!
Krew gets so excited to watch Jorden that I honestly believe it won't be long before they do this ride together.
This year Blake did the race as a relay; so after he rode his 100+ miles he stayed with the cheering squad.
To say my kids adore him would be an understatement.
We found a perfect spot to sit and wait for the boys to ride by. It was Jorden, his dad Brad, and Blake's Father-in-law Craig that we were waiting for to come by.
We had a beautiful view to look at while we sat and waited.
Here they come!
Wahoo!!!
And there they go!
Being in the car from 6am to 10pm feels like an eternity especially with 2 kids in the car. So the finish line feels so wonderful. I'm sure Jorden felt the same way.
Spiderman came to the finish line.
DONE!
A congratulatory hug from Myla.
Then the leg cramps starting coming on.
In all honesty, you'd never guess that he had just rode 206 miles. He hardly looked sweaty and tired. Apparently he's a machine!
These 3 are awesome! I'm so glad they have this common hobby that they can enjoy together.
Let's not forget about the support crew. Getting all of the food and drinks ready at each rest stop and being able to find each rest stop is no easy feat!
Proud kids!
Krew showing off the medal that Jorden passed along to him.
Krew was just a little bit excited!
So proud of him.

What could be more fun than riding a bike for 206 miles and then getting leg cramps?
ReplyDeleteYeah, almost anything....Still, impressive, Jorden! Way to go!
