Stewart Falls

We decided to take a hike to Stewart Falls with Jorden's siblings and spouses. It was the perfect hike, that wasn't too difficult for the kids.
The top of the hike is always worth it and Krew had a blast getting soaking wet under the falls.

Wedding Bliss

Jorden's cousin, Paizlee got married in August. I love weddings. It's fun to see the bride and groom start their life together and also reminds me of my own wedding day. I also love that I get to see my wonderful in-laws.
Me, Lacie, Megan, Chelsea, Suanne

These three have so much fun together!
Myla, Lindley, Krew

Weddings are fun but oh so exhausting.

Independence Day 2015

Almost every 4th of July we head up to Idaho Falls to Jorden's parents' house.
This year we also ran in the Firecracker 5k, and Krew ran it with me. It was his first 5k and he did awesome!

After the 5k is the infamous Idaho Falls parade. Krew and his second cousin, Dallin, showed up matching in their patriotic tank tops.

Such a cute picture of Myla and Grandma Backman.

 I love these two!

And I love these 3 even more!

Myla wasn't a big fan of the loud firetrucks.

But it didn't stop her from falling asleep on Grandpa Backman.
Myla continued her nap after lunch.
And Blake and Megan got a much needed nap in too.

After lunch is when the real fun started. Grandma and Grandpa got a fun blow-up slide. The kids could have played on it ALL. DAY. LONG.

Uncle Blake helping Myla go down.

It wasn't just the kids that had fun. The guys started going down, but by jumping over the part that's suppose to be jumped through.

Jorden's turn

At some point the top point broke. Maybe rules should be followed! ;)

Taking a break in the pool.
Until Krew found that to be silly.

It was all fun and games until Brad poured a bucket of water on my head. Then my Mother-in-law came to my defense, then all heck broke loose

 Jorden getting me.

This little squirt gun wasn't quite as effective.

Luckily, Aunt Chelsea kept Myla safe from the water fight.

I love how Krew is sneakily getting Jorden from the playhouse.

Uncle Blake caught on.

 Dad to the rescue.

I was trying to have a "friendly" fight with Jorden,

 and I soon learned,
 that was a bad idea.
 Darn!

 revenge!

I finally had to call it quits; but I had to walk away with a bucket on my head to do it.

That night we decided to do our fireworks instead of going to the Melaleuca show, and it was nice to do our thing.

Nothing like Dads and fireworks!

It was a fun and memorable 4th of July.

January 2015

January 4th
Myla having an emotional moment during a little football game in the living room.

Wearing a tutu, baseball helmet, and a football is just too much sometimes.

January 7th
These two LOVE to play superheros! I love how Myla is trying to figure out just how to put her hands, like her big brother.

How can anyone resist this superhero face?!

 Play hard, sleep harder!

Nothing like flowers from your parents to brighten your day. Sadly, I had a miscarriage on January 12, right after I dropped Jorden off at the airport for a week of work in California. These flowers certainly helped ease the sadness of the day.

January 19th
Stopping for a little Costco pizza one afternoon while Krew was at school.
I just love this little curly-haired babe!

Harvey is my little snuggle buddy. The minute anyone sits down with a blanket, he is right there to snuggle.
He also loves laying in the sun. Krew and Myla really love Harvey, and like to sit with him.

 January 24, 2015
We made a trip up to Idaho Falls at the end of January to visit Grandma and Grandpa Backman. Krew shot Jorden's BB gun for the first time.

The backyard is the perfect shooting range. Krew loved it and has quite the aim.

Anyone who knows Myla knows she has quite the obsession with chocolate. Plus, isn't that what Grandmas and Grandpas are for?
Please excuse Myla's post hairdo. It gets a little crazy after those elastics come out!

Krew isn't as much of a chocolate fan and much prefers decorating Grandma's yummy sugar cookies.

January 26th
Hanging out at the little park by our house. Krew is such a good big brother to Myla and helps her along wherever we go.

January 31st
Jorden and I went snowboarding with his brother Blake and sister-in-law Megan. We rarely do things like this and it was really good to get away for a few hours. Jorden's awesome Aunt Kerilee and Uncle Steve watched Krew and Myla for us. They are the best!
Before we dropped Krew off we told him we were going on a date. He asked if we were going to kiss on our date....I think you can take that as a yes!
I'm loving our shadow goatees in this picture!

Megan took so much time to coach me through the skills of snowboarding and was so patient. I would have given up on me after the first 5 minutes. She is seriously such a pro!
Thanks for such a fun night Blake and Megan!
