On Christmas Eve there was a knock at our door. Krew and Myla ran to answer it and there were two presents at the door. We have no idea who left the presents. We also have no idea where dad was at this same time. What a weird coincidence!
The kids were excited to open their new pajamas and slippers.
There was another knock at our door and look who it was!
We were doing a little Backman family party at our house but we had no idea it was a costume party! Brad and Suanne sure know how to make everything fun.
We played a bunch of Minute To Win It games. Which I was horrible at by the way.
For this game, we tried to ravel the streamers on our arms as fast as we could.

The kids had more fun with the aftermath of this game!
With this game we would blow up balloons and blow the cups off the table with just the air from the balloon. It's harder than it looks!
This one was the funniest to watch. Start with an Oreo on your forehead and try to eat it without using your hands or having it fall off your face.

Jorden was good at this game!

We ended the night reading in the scriptures about the birth of Christ. It was a good reminder to remember the reason for the season. The kids asked a lot of questions, which made it that much more meaningful.
Christmas morning!
Unloading their stockings.
Krew wondering what in the world was under this sheet.
A basketball hoop!
The theme for Myla this year was definitely Frozen.
Krew trying on his new beanie. It came just in time because we received a huge, and first snow storm of the season on Christmas morning.
An Elsa doll from Frozen.
A cell phone already?!
Jorden even picked out a Christmas gift for our dog Harvey.
He didn't let go of it the rest of the day!
Myla trying out her Sophia The First princess gear.
We got Myla got a strider bike. These bikes are genius. They come with no pedals and help develop balance much earlier, instead of depending on training wheels. Myla can fly on this thing. She'll be riding a big 2-wheeler in no time!
Krew got this awesome 3-wheeler from Grandma and Grandpa Backman. It can spin in a circle and when the brakes are applied, sparks fly everywhere. Of course the brakes weren't applied in the house.
It's funny because I hadn't really even heard of these things but apparently they're a hot item. Every time he rides it around the neighborhood, kids stop him and say, "Wow you have a Razor RipRider 360?!". Krew always responds very confidently, "Yep. I do."
Myla loved all her Christmas presents but she definitely gravitated towards this stroller from Grandma and Grandpa Jones that she got for her birthday 2 days earlier.
We had a beautiful Christmas and have so much to be grateful for!
Those Backmans know how to have a party! I love Krew's Christmas Eve slippers.
