Krew Plays T-ball

Krew is such a high energy kid that sports have been a great outlet for him. He is trying a little bit of everything and was pretty excited to try T-ball.
Jorden and Krew spent some time practicing at the baseball field by our house.
He has quite the arm and is left-handed just like his Grandpa Backman. Jorden does a lot of things left-handed too. He throws right-handed but bats left. Weird.
Practicing throwing,

 and catching.
Not a bad backdrop. Love those Utah mountains!

While the boys practiced, Myla and I played in the grass,

and watched the boys throw the ball around.

Warming up for the first game. Watching 5-year-olds throw the ball to one another is hilarious. Krew probably ran a couple of miles during warm up, just from going to get the ball his teammate would throw to towards him.

Most of the time Krew was pretty good at throwing it directly at his teammate.

Krew's first time at bat.

Off to first base!

Taking some advice from base coach. AKA Dad.

Krew at shortstop.  You can tell these kids were oozing with excitement. Towards the end of the game there was a lot of, "I'm tired. Are we almost done? When do we get our treats?" coming from all the players.

Myla loved going to the games. Mostly because she could freely run around.

Krew's team. He's on the bottom left. He is the only Kindergartner on his team. Everyone else is in first grade. He did pretty darn good; especially considering he was the youngest!

I love this picture. Such a handsome kid!

  1. I love that last picture of Krew, too, and Myla's little face always makes me laugh.
