Bitter Sweet

On Wednesday August 11th we drove down to Provo, UT to drop Blake off at the MTC. It seems like it was just yesterday we dropped off Chet, which was actually about 17 months ago. Dropping Blake off was a different experience. The MTC has changed things up a bit. It is now more of a drive by and drop off, instead of the go inside, watch the video and missionaries out one door and families out the other. We all agree that we like the new way much better. Less dramatic! Blake had missionary chaperons waiting on the curbside for him. It was nice and welcoming. The MTC is doing some renovations so we went up to the Provo temple to take pictures. It was a beautiful day.

Blake always took the time to play with Krew so I know Krew will really miss him! Krew just admires him! As you can tell from the picture :)

Blake will truly be missed but we are so proud of him and his decision to serve a mission. We know he will be an awesome missionary to the people of Houston, Texas!
