It's hard to believe that my little Krew is 4 years-old! Time sure does fly! On Friday May, 3 we did a little party. Krew decided on a Buzz Lightyear party. I was a little surprised because he has really been into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles this year, but ultimately Buzz was still just too cool to pass up! We invited some of the neighbor kids over to the park for some fun. We started with pin the badge on Buzz and Woody.
Because we were at the park we were limited on where we could hang Buzz, Woody, and Jessie. So the electrical box it was!
They did pretty darn good! Maybe a little too good considering they were blindfolded ;)
Next was the pinata. Don't you love the only stick we could find?! Yep, It's a broomstick!
Even with the 5-foot stick. They did really well, and candy was out in no time!
Playing on the toys!
These party blowers were a hit! So much so, that every other kid at the park asked me if I had an extra one. (Luckily, they weren't the noisy party blowers!)
Next was cupcakes and presents. Or in Krew's words, "Pupcakes". He also says, "Birthcake" instead of birthday :)
I think the army guys were a bigger hit than the cupcakes!
They also got "Planet Popcorn",
Buzz Lightyear refueling fluid. AKA water,
and outer space gift bags. Filled with everything outer space. Milky Ways, Starbursts, space pencil, space bouncy balls, and Toy Story stickers and tattoos.
Ah! What a day! A lot of work but so worth it! Krew had a blast!
The party crew:
London, Drew, Rav, Krew, Will (hiding in the back-was able to join us late), and Rav's little sister
Krew has been dying to go to Chuck E Cheese's for months now. Thanks to the constant commercials! So his birthday was the perfect opportunity to go. Luckily most of Jorden's siblings live in Utah and were able to join us. (We miss you Lacie). His parents were also able to come down from Idaho Falls, which made Krew's day! We first went to Zupas. Because let's face it, Chuck E. Chesse's pizza is less then stellar! After Zupas we headed over to Chuck E. Cheese's. It did not disappoint! Well, for Krew anyway! He ran from game to game as fast as he could!
It was no surprise that he wanted to play the shooting games over
and over,
and over again!
But he did try out a few other games.
This monster truck was cool for a minute. Then it started going sideways, like it would if it were going up a mountain. Then Krew didn't think it was cool anymore and bailed out, two seconds after I took this picture.
He did whoop me at air hockey!
The band has not changed a bit since I was little.
Krew loved it!
After our fun at Chuck E. Cheese's we headed home to open presents. Chet and Chelsea got Krew a cool....Barbie?! It was just a joke but Krew sure let them know that that was a GIRL toy!!
That's better!!
He was so spoiled by everyone!! We can't thank everyone enough for making his day so special!
The cake! Which was on the verge of falling over.
Blowing out the candles!
Cute little Myla admiring everyone from the ground.
Happy Birthday Krew! We sure love you and are so proud of the person you are becoming! You are constantly making us laugh. Like when you "shoot zombies in the backyard"
Please excuse the weeds! The joys of renting!
Or act like a mannequin every time you see some.
You sure blend in with those headless ones!
You are also so smart! And already have your 1st Article of Faith memorized.
We love you!!

What a fun birthday! Way to go on the Article of Faith!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe Krew is 4! Ya Chuck-E-Cheese hasn't changed one bit! And I LOVE the video of Krew! That is just the cutest thing I've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Krew! I wish you guys lived closer, Chase and Krew would be such good friends. And I agree Chuckie Cheese has about the most vile pizza I have ever had. Nasty! Did it once, will never do that again.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Krew!!!! Looks like you had a fun day!
